Ensuring your XML sitemap is error-free is crucial for proper indexing by search engines. Here’s how you can check for errors in Google Search Console for both Shopify and WooCommerce platforms.

For Shopify

  1. Log in to your Google Search Console account.
  2. Select your website property from the dashboard.
  3. In the left-hand menu, click on Sitemaps under the Index section.
  4. Enter sitemap.xml in the Add a new sitemap field and click Submit.
