Ensuring your eCommerce website is indexed by search engines is crucial for visibility. Here’s how you can check if your Shopify or WooCommerce site is indexed:

For Shopify:

  1. Open Google and type site:yourshopifystore.com in the search bar.
  2. Review the search results to see if your pages are listed.
  3. If no results appear, ensure your store is not password-protected and that you haven’t disabled search engine indexing in your Shopify admin under Online Store > Preferences.

For WooCommerce:

  1. Open Google and type site:yourwoocommercestore.com in the search bar.
  2. Review the search results to see if your pages are listed.
  3. If no results appear, check your WordPress settings under Settings > Reading to ensure the Search Engine Visibility option is unchecked.

Additionally, you can use Google Search Console to verify indexing status for both platforms. Submit your sitemap to Google Search Console to help with indexing.
