Using Tools to Identify Competitor Keywords

There are several tools available that can help you identify the keywords your competitors are ranking for. Some popular ones include:

Steps for Shopify

  1. Choose a Tool: Select one of the tools mentioned above. For this example, we’ll use Ahrefs.
  2. Enter Competitor URL: In Ahrefs, go to the Site Explorer and enter your competitor’s URL.
  3. Analyze Organic Keywords: Navigate to the Organic Keywords report. This will show you the keywords your competitor is ranking for, along with their positions, search volume, and other metrics.
  4. Export Data: Export the list of keywords for further analysis and integration into your own SEO strategy.

Steps for WooCommerce

  1. Choose a Tool: Select one of the tools mentioned above. For this example, we’ll use SEMrush.
  2. Enter Competitor URL: In SEMrush, go to the Domain Overview and enter your competitor’s URL.
  3. Analyze Organic Research: Navigate to the Organic Research section. This will show you the keywords your competitor is ranking for, along with their positions, search volume, and other metrics.
